Science Fiction Worlds of Jeffrey A. Carver: Features excellent advice for aspiring authors. Also science fiction books, recommended reading, TV show, and more from the author of STRANGE ATTRACTORS, THE INFINITE SEA, and other SF novels.
Science Fiction Romance: Contains selected articles from past and current issues of the SF Romance newsletter, a full list of the yearly "Best SF Romance of the Year" award finalists and winners, and an on-line bookstore. It also contains a description of just what exactly "science fiction romance" is, and how that differs from romantic science fiction. Articles include book reviews, author interviews, inspirational essays, opinion pieces, and Joanne Reid's "Net Content" columns about new web sites she's discovered, all geared toward the writer of genre fiction. Slush Pile, The: An editor's site for children's authors who don't have agents, who don't have connections, who aren't celebrities and who basically have to claw their way to fame and fortune through the slush pile. Visitors will find dozens of down-to-earth "how-to" articles, interviews, links and encouragement from an industry professional who believes that some of the best talent simply hasn't been discovered yet.
