InfoWorld: IDG computer publication.


InfoWorld Electic: is the online version of InfoWorld, and in addition to the contents of the print version, Electric contains daily news updates, interactive forums, and online-only columns and features. InfoWorld does use materials written by freelance writers, although most of the editorial output is in-house. Prospective writers should be familiar with the subject matter and the publication itself and contact the appropriate section editor if interested in contributing.

Isotope: A Journal of Literary Nature and Science Writing: A publication at Utah State University that specializes in science and nature, subjects and concerns that move beyond traditional nature writing--including urban ecosystems, astronomy, physics, chaos theory, genetic engineering, artificial intelligence, restoration ecology, earth sciences, cartography, sexuality, medicine and the body. They accept manuscripts from July 1 to October 15.
