Galaxy Magazine: Appears to be under development. Unsure what the content will be though science fiction appears dominant since it features covers from the old print version of Galaxy magazine.

Gambeson Media Network: "a new kind of online publication offering writers the ability to get their stories/articles published for free complete with photo or graphic within minutes of joining the network, which is also free. Descriptions of new stories, links to the complete stories, and thumbnail images (when available) are immediately published on the front page of the website, on the top-level genre index page (fiction, nonfiction, music and poetry), and also on the specific genre page of the writer's choice (nearly 200 to choose from), all at the click of one button. All facets of every story and photo can be completely and easily updated whenever the writer chooses and those changes get reflected on every page where the story is linked. Also, the writer gets a free "Media Site" for self-promotion. It's a wonderful site with minimal ads (all from Barnes and Noble) and all the services are free."

Georgia Blue Poetry Anthology: A Canadian society located in Collingwood, Ontario that is dedicated to the promotion of the Poetic Arts. Editor's note: we advise caution.


Gernsback's Forecast Ezine, Hugo: Dedicated to providing the best in science fiction. From the Old Masters to the up and coming author, Forecast is a site for everyone. We are currently publishing back issues of Gernsback's Forecast, a little know yearly booklet. We are also publishing Hugo's novel's, presently "Ultimate World" , then Ralph 124C 41+. Forecast also welcomes submissions from writers wishing exposure to the Internet Community.

Gila Queen's Guide to Markets, The: Recommended. An excellent marketing resource for writers.


Girls and Corpses: A paying print publication. Looks like it's meant for mature audiences.


Glance Magazine: Not recommended. An entertainment magazine.


Glenn Murphy's Pseudo-Magazine of Writings: Takes submissions of any kind in order to contribute to the whole diversity of the site. Fiction and Poetry are the two largest sections. Link reported broken.


Glib Magazine: "a free, monthly publication of the humourous, wacky, satirical and bizarre. Our first issue will be released in Toronto, Canada, May 2003." May be dead.

Gothic Net Webzine: Writer complaints about checks bouncing. Not recommended. An electronic horror magazine on the Internet.


GOWANUS: "founded in June, 1997 and has published continuously since then on a quarterly basis. It specializes in non-fiction and fiction from Third World nations. In 1998 it received the Milkweed Award for excellence." Contributed by Tom Hubschman.

Greatest Uncommon Denominator (GUD) Magazine: Recommended. Features "200 pages of literary + genre fiction, poetry, art, and more, twice a year" in print and PDF.
